Our Story

Dance with aloha, every step 🌺

Aloha·Dance·Vibe

Aloha & Hula was created to share the beauty, peace, and joy of Hawaiian and Tahitian dance with people everywhere. Whether you're reconnecting with your roots, moving your body with intention, or simply looking for a moment of calm, our classes are designed to help you bloom — one graceful movement at a time.

Why Aloha & Hula exists

We're all busy. Finding the right class, the right teacher, and the right people can feel harder than the dance itself.

Aloha & Hula was built so you don't have to search forever for your tribe. You can learn from home, move at your own pace, and still feel connected.

We focus on growth, encouragement, and bringing people together from all walks of life. Whether you're returning to hula, trying Tahitian for the first time, or just need a joyful place to move, you belong here.

One class. One step. One community. Blooming together.

Meet Faith

A lifetime of hula, shared with aloha 🌺

Aloha, I’m Faith, dancer, choreographer, teacher, and lifelong student of the beautiful cultures of Hawaiʻi and the Polynesian Islands.

My journey in hula began when I was just 12 years old, and by the age of 15 I had opened my own dance studio and begun teaching others. I started choreographing my own routines at 14, and dance has remained an important part of my life ever since.

For more than 30 years, I have had the privilege of teaching dancers of all ages and backgrounds, from children as young as 4 years old to senior citizens, and both male and female dancers. I have taught throughout the Inland Empire, including programs through Riverside Community College, local recreation departments, and the Riverside Arts Council.

My education and foundation in Polynesian dance comes from studying traditional ʻauana, kahiko, and Tahitian dance with kumu and teachers who generously shared not only their knowledge of the dance, but also their love, traditions, history, and culture. I am deeply grateful for the blessings and encouragement they have bestowed upon me to continue sharing what I have been taught with others.

My classes honor the traditional foundations of hula and Tahitian dance, while also incorporating elements of haole hula and creative fusion. I believe dance is more than learning choreography; it is a way to connect with culture, music, storytelling, movement, community, and one another.

Above all, my passion is to share the aloha, beauty, history, and spirit of the islands through dance while creating a welcoming place where every student can learn, grow, and experience the joy of Polynesian dance.

Mahalo for allowing me to share this journey with you. I look forward to dancing with you!
