Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 23, 2026
This policy explains how subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, and our approach to refunds for Aloha & Hula.
1. Free Tier
The Free tier costs nothing and includes a limited selection of classes. Because no payment is collected, there is nothing to refund. You can stop using the Service at any time.
2. Paid Subscriptions (Basic & Premium)
Paid subscriptions ($9.99/month for Basic, $16.99/month for Premium) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
3. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops all future billing. You keep access to your subscription until the end of the current paid period, after which your account returns to the Free tier.
To cancel, either:
- Use the manage/subscription option within the Service, or
- Email faith@alohaandhula.com with your account email and a request to cancel.
Cancelling at least 24 hours before your renewal date helps ensure the next charge does not process.
4. Refunds
Because classes are digital, streaming content that you can access immediately, all subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has started, except where required by law.
If you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after you cancelled on time), contact us at faith@alohaandhula.com within 30 days and we will review and, where appropriate, issue a refund for the erroneous charge.
Certain jurisdictions (for example, the EU, UK, and parts of Australia) provide a statutory right to cancel distance contracts within a short cooling-off period for digital content. Where such a right applies and you have not yet streamed any paid class, you may request a refund within that period. Once you access a paid class, however, the digital content is “unsealed” and the statutory cooling-off right may no longer apply.
5. Promotional & Discounted Offers
Free trials, promotional months, or discounted periods are offered at our discretion. When a promotion ends, standard billing begins on the next cycle unless you cancel first. Promotional access itself is not refundable because no charge was made for it.
6. Disputed or Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we may retry or pause access until payment is resolved. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact your card issuer and us before initiating a chargeback so we can help resolve it directly.
