Parent / Guardian Information

Information for parents and guardians about children using Aloha & Hula, how accounts work, privacy, and safety.
1. Who This Is For
Aloha & Hula offers classes for both adults and children (keiki). This page explains how our Service works for users under 18 and the responsibilities of parents and guardians. By creating an account or allowing a child to use the Service, you accept these terms on the child’s behalf.
2. Account Ownership
Users under 18 may not create their own account. A parent or legal guardian must create and own the account, manage the subscription, and supervise the child’s use. All billing is charged to the adult account holder. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including a minor’s use of the Service.
3. Age-Appropriate Content
Classes marked for a children’s (keiki) audience are designed to be age-appropriate, gentle, and fun. We offer beginner-friendly pacing and clear instruction. Some kids’ classes may appear as “coming soon” while they are still being filmed. Adult classes are intended for older dancers and may involve more demanding movement.
4. Physical Safety — Read With Your Child
Dance is a physical activity. Before your child begins, please review our Physical Activity & Assumption of Risk page with them in age-appropriate language. Help your child:
- Set up a safe, clear space with enough room to move;
- Dance on a non-slip floor and wear suitable footwear or dance safely barefoot;
- Warm up, drink water, take breaks, and stop if they feel pain or tired;
- Follow the instructor’s guidance and modify movements as needed.
Always supervise young children during class. Do not leave a child unattended while dancing. You assume responsibility for any injury or incident involving a minor in your care.
5. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect more personal information from children than is necessary to provide the Service, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children without a parent’s involvement. Account and subscription details are tied to the parent or guardian’s account email.
We do not display third-party advertising on our class pages aimed at children. General analytics and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) operate across the site in line with our Privacy Policy. If you believe a child has submitted information directly, contact faith@alohaandhula.com and we will delete it.
6. Contests & Communications
Contests and giveaways (such as our “Win a Free Month” drawing) are intended for adult account holders. A parent or guardian may enter on a child’s behalf. We do not knowingly direct contest marketing at children under 18.
7. Managing Your Child’s Access
You can review, update, or delete your account and associated information at any time, and you can cancel a subscription so that a child no longer has access to paid content. To manage your child’s account information, email faith@alohaandhula.com.
8. Parental Controls & Reporting
We encourage open communication with your child about their experience. If you encounter content you feel is inappropriate, or if you have a concern about your child’s use of the Service, please contact us at faith@alohaandhula.com and we will address it promptly.
